This sign at Harvey's is supposed to impress me.

So let's see... they're gonna say hi, make my food, put stuff on it, and say thank you? WOW I CAN'T GET THAT AT ANY OTHER RESTAURANT!!!

Date: 2010-04-25 05:18 am (UTC)We have In-N-Out burgers here in Phoenix. While they do go out easily, they do rapidly demonstrate that they're worthy of their name - tasty but greasy burgers that go in quickly, and come back out just as quickly. Their assembly-line-style cooking process is also very fast, but doesn't allow customizations (for example, just try to get a burger without mustard).
My recent favourite is Jack in the Box, with their Teriyaki Bowl (teriyaki chicken or steak over a bed of rice). It's almost like non-fast food.
