YOUR CHILDREN COULD BE NEXT!
A group of high school kids are introduced to marijuana, and their lives promptly go to hell.
Though it's presented as drama, this was clearly intended to be an educational tool. The trouble is, the writers failed to educate themselves before producing the screenplay. They obviously knew nothing of the drug's actual properties and effects. Marijuana is shown to cause jitteriness, sexual depravity, rabid addiction, insanity, and, worst of all, shifty eyes.
It goes without saying that the movie fails as drama too. The acting is terrible, too many characters are introduced, some of the high school students look middle-aged, and the script is as subtle as a sledgehammer to the face. Some "so bad it's good" movies are amusing to watch alone, but this one needs to be watched with a group.
Verdict: Keep. I wouldn't get much money for this (I think I bought it for a buck or two myself), and it's probably worth keeping for a few priceless moments.*
*In an effort to make a little extra money, it occurred to me to sell some of my dvds. But as I looked through them, I found there were several cases where I felt the need to see the movie again before I decided if I could part with it. Hence the revisitation.

That corner where he's looking? There's no one there. SO DON'T DO DRUGS!
